In this work are given characteristics of Trans-verse Mercator projection and possibilities for their application like a state’s cartographic pro-jection. Then, there are defined the basic elements of projection applicant on territory of Republic of Macedonia. In the end, there are presented some advantages of TM projection beyond Gauss-Kruger’s projection like an existing state’s cartographic projection.
